Motlow Soccer Wins Region 7, 1 Win Away From Nat. Tournament
Dominating their two opponents by a combined 18-2 score, the Motlow Lady Bucks (12-2-1) won the TCCAA/Region VII Tournament championship and qualified for the Southeast District Championship game, and an opportunity to advance to the NJCAA national tournament.
Hiatt-Spivey Center Dedicated on Smyrna Campus
Motlow State Community College's Hiatt-Spivey Center, located at the College's Smyrna campus, was officially dedicated on October 22. The 82,000 square foot Center has been hosting students and classes for more than a year, opening right before the pandemic.

Dr. Anthony Ervin at Motlow State Community College in Moore County. Ervin is a physical therapist at Vanderbilt Tullahoma-Harton Hospital and a 2010 graduate of Motlow State. A car wreck left him with a traumatic brain injury and blind in one eye.

Motlow State Community College recently underwent a comprehensive audit, conducted by the Tennessee Comptroller of the Treasury that resulted in zero findings. While this is not unheard of, it is extremely rare.
Get Credit for What you Know at Motlow
Students at Motlow State Community College are getting credit for what they already know and graduating faster. Prior-learning assessments (PLAs) award college credit, certification, or advanced standing for non-academic experiences and training. Motlow State students who participate in PLA testing can use these credits as a fast track to graduation.
