Welcome to Orientation!

What is Orientation?

  • Orientation offers new students a welcome and engaging online overview of the programs and support services that help students transition into college successfully. Students will learn about student success services such Free Tutoring, the Writing Center, Math Labs, Clubs, Events and more. After completion of the online orientation, students will schedule a New Student Advisement and Registration appointment
  • First-time Freshman and New Transfer Students
  • Orientation is not required for students seeking a certificate

How do I sign up for Orientation?

Orientation is for first-time freshman and new transfer students. You must be officially accepted to the College to begin this process.

Signup Steps

  1. Monitor your Motlow student email for orientation information.
  2. Fall semester orientation begins in June
  3. Spring semester orientation begins in November
  4. Summer semester orientation begins in April

Following orientation

  • Log into MotlowHub and check your Motlow student email account regularly. All student information is sent to your student email account
  • Sign up for Motlow Alerts
  • Log into MyMotlow and confirm your class schedule
  • Purchase your textbooks
  • Register your vehicle and pick up your parking pass from the Business Office or your campus main office
  • Follow all of Motlow’s official social media accounts
  • Register for Master Calendar Reminders
