Motlow Library Mission Statement
MSCC Libraries advance the institutional mission and curriculum, the Tennessee Board of Regents directives, and the development of local and state economies in Tennessee by:
- Providing equitable access to a comprehensive collection of informational resources, including print and eBooks, article databases, and additional electronic resources for a diverse population of students, faculty, staff, and the community at large.
- Equipping a community of lifelong learners with critical thinking and evaluation skills by teaching information and digital literacy both individually and collectively through proven research methods and innovative reference tools.
- Supporting a broad-spectrum of patron needs through superior user-centered services—welcoming
all levels of skill and ability.
