Responsible Executive: Executive Vice President for Business and Finance

I. PURPOSE

The Safety Committee is organized to:

  1. Promote a safe environment for Motlow State Community College students, faculty, and staff;
  2. Serve as a liaison to bring safety issues to the President; and
  3. Monitor compliance with federal and state rules, regulations, and policies.

II. MEMBERS AND MEETINGS

The committee is composed of the following members:

  1. Executive Vice President for Business and Finance (Chair, Ex-officio, voting);
  2. Director of Public Safety;
  3. Director of Facilities Services;
  4. Lab Safety Coordinator; and
  5. Director of Disability and Counseling Services.

The committee will meet at least annually.
