Surgical Technology
Motlow is seeking accreditation by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) upon recommendation of the Accreditation Review Council on Education in Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (ARC/STSA). The Motlow State Community College Surgical Technology Program prepares students to work as vital members of a surgical team, assisting surgeons, anesthesiologists, and registered nurses in the operating room. Students gain hands-on experience through classroom instruction, simulation labs, and clinical rotations in regional hospitals and surgical centers.
Be part of Motlow’s first Surgical Technology class! Applications open Spring 2026, and classes start Fall 2026 at the Fayetteville Campus.
