It is designed for students who do not intend to transfer to a university. The concentration involves many elements of business but provides specialized instruction in issues specific to entrepreneurship.
The A.A.S. in Entrepreneurship equips students with the skills needed to start and successfully run their own business. While open to all students, this A.A.S. is particularly designed to assist students who have received a certificate or diploma in a technical field such as those granted by a Tennessee Colleges of Applied Technology.

NOTE: Students with mid-management work experience can use the course BUSN 2905 Mid-Management Specialty Work Experience to earn credit hours in place of BUSN courses. This experience will be evaluated by the Curriculum Chair of Business and Technology with six hours credit being awarded for each year in excess of three years’ work experience or apprenticeship, up to a maximum of twelve credit hours.
