Motlow State Partners with Big Interview to Help Students SucceedMotlow State Community College’s Workforce Development has partnered with Big Interview to help students and graduates land their next great job. Big Interview is an online learning system that combines a proven, step-by-step curriculum of expert video lessons with artificial intelligence (AI)-based virtual practice interview tools.

“We want to set our students up for success in every way we can,” said Dr. Joy Rich, assistant vice president of Workforce Development at Motlow. “Through real-world scenarios, Big Interview introduces job seekers to the essential life skills they need to excel, as well as increasing their communication skills and self-confidence.”

According to Big Interview, candidates who excel in job interviews are those who prepare. Preparation is more than reading a few articles. It means crafting intentional answers, designing your examples, and practice.

“Video interviews are the world we live in right now,” said Rich. “This partnership also helps Motlow students and graduates thrive in the workforce by training them on video technology. The system provides feedback and suggests areas for improvement.”

Users can choose their own course of study or start with a specific curriculum track. The system includes practice questions from hundreds of industries and competencies across all experience levels. It offers insights and sample answers crafted by their interview experts. You can even book a one-on-one session with a live interview expert who will design coaching sessions to your unique situation.

“Additionally, Motlow State is sharing the platform with our sister TCATs and community partners,” explained Dr. Tony Millican, executive vice president of Workforce and Community Development at Motlow. “We have a shared mission with these partners. We are all working to meet career and workforce needs of the students and communities we serve.”

“Anyone who is a Motlow student, alumni, TCAT student, or Motlow community member can access this system,” added Rich. “We hope others will partner with us and help spread the news.”
