Motlow State's new Distilled Spirits Program is now available to students registering for their fall 2025 courses. Core classes in the Distilled Spirits Program will take place on the grounds of the Nearest Green Distillery. Students will begin their degree by taking Introduction to Distillery Operations, Spirits Production I, and Food and Beverage Regulations this fall.

Motlow State Community College has been named an Opportunity College & University (OCU), according to the newly released 2025 Carnegie Classifications, a collaborative initiative of the American Council on Education (ACE) and the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
Motlow State is pleased to announce that Daniel Price is the new head coach of the women's basketball team and Justin Newton is the new head of the men's basketball team. Both coaches come to Motlow with impressive records and are excited to join the Motlow community.
Five-hundred and sixty graduates out of almost one thousand 2024-2025 graduating students walked the stage to receive their diplomas from Motlow State at the recent graduation ceremony. The event, held at Middle Tennessee State University's Murphy Center, celebrated the accomplishments of Motlow State students from all five locations and online.
