PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Launch a new career in biotechnology in just 8 weeks. 

This paid training program is designed for beginners. You will gain hands-on lab experience, build real-world skills, and prepare for entry-level roles in a fast-growing industry. 

You do not need prior college experience or a science background to get started.

PROGRAM STRUCTURE

  • Duration: 8 weeks
  • Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 4 PM
  • Dates: June 1 - July 24, 2026
  • Format: In-person, hands-on training
  • Learning Model: Cohort-based with other beginners 

Train in a structured environment designed to support first-time learners.

GET PAID WHILE YOU TRAIN

Participants are paid for their time in the program. 

  • Earn up to $7,000 during the training period
  • Receive $1,400 every two weeks 

This is a paid opportunity to learn new skills and prepare for a new career. 

ELIGIBILITY 

To apply, you must: 

  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • Be able to attend the full program schedule 

No prior lab experience or college coursework is required. 

CAREER OUTCOMES 

This training prepares you for entry-level roles such as: 

  • Lab Technician
  • Quality Control Technician
  • Biomanufacturing Support Technician
  • Research Assistant 

These roles exist across biotechnology companies, healthcare systems, and advanced manufacturing organizations. 

PARTNERSHIP

This program is offered in partnership with Vanderbilt University. 

You will train using industry-informed curriculum designed to prepare you for real workforce opportunities.
